Posted 6/3/11: Pertussis (whooping cough) has been on the rise in California. Immunization is the best way to control the spread of Pertussis. Because of the Pertussis outbreak, a new immunization law was passed in California requiring all students entering 7th-12th grade in the 2011-2012 school year to show proof of Pertussis booster (Tdap) vaccination. more . . .
